In the opposite direction, it is only a few minutes onto the Quay where ferries can take you across Christchurch Harbour to the Mudeford Beaches (with its £250k beach huts!) and to Hengistbury Head.

  • Excellent beaches can be found within a few miles at Hengistbury Head, Mudeford, Southbourne and Bournemouth.
  • The new Forest National Park is within 5 miles.
